We collect minimal personal data to provide our service. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. For participants joining a room, we temporarily store your display name within the session state, which is automatically deleted shortly after the session ends.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the application and your planning sessions.
• Display your chosen name and vote to other participants within the same room.
• Remember your authentication status on your device.

3. Data Retention and Security

All room data (including participant names and votes) is stored temporarily in Redis and is discarded automatically 24 hours after the session concludes. Your account details are securely stored in our encrypted database. We take all reasonable precautions to secure your data from unauthorized access.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use browser Local Storage exclusively for functional purposes:

• To store an anonymous device ID or your authentication token to automatically rejoin you to sessions.
• To persist your display name for auto-filling the join prompt.
• To remember your theme preference (Light/Dark mode).

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not integrate with third-party tracking scripts.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
